Photography Workshop

A couple of weeks ago I went on a trip to Wirksworth for a photography workshop with Paul Hill. On the Saturday we did three separate little projects based on Frame and Vantage Point, Light and Time. On Sunday, we spent the morning focusing on one theme of our choice. At first I found it hard to think of something to do as we only had a short period of time. Eventually I decided to look the rocks and stone in the landscape, as Wirksworth is known for its quarrying. For the final pictures for this short project, I ended up using three I had taken the day before when visiting Black Rocks and Dene Quarry and adding two more from my observations of Wirksworth town.

As I live close to the Peak District, over the summer I hope to explore some new places and continue to develop and experiment with my landscape photography and try to build on some of the themes we explored during the workshop.
